THIS WEEK AT WARSAW CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 10/18 THRU 10/24 This will be a typical week in the life of our church with one exception. Nurses from Katy Trail Community Health will be here tomorrow (Tuesday) from 10 to 2 PM to administer Covid-19 vaccines. This makes it convenient for those who desire a vaccine or a booster. There is no charge. This service will continue every Tuesday through  11/23. The pandemic seems to be subsiding for which we thank God. However, Covid- 19 is still with us.  Our new Associate Pastor, Tom Gee, has been a big help to me and to the congregation.  Plus, it is nice to hear a new voice in the pulpit.  If you haven’t noticed the pastor’s office expansion is continuing. The downstairs office will mean I won’t have to climb those 14 steps to get to my upstairs office! It will also be convenient for the next pastor. Again, much thanks to Marvin for all the work he has done to make the office a reality.  Wednesday Bible study at 3 PM. We will continue our studies in the Gospel of John.  I will continue my sermon series on faith Sunday. The sermon title is “What is Faith?” The text is Luke 17:3-10. Our Christian life begins and ends with faith. In this series, we will be examining a number of texts that will help us gain a greater understanding of faith. Since it is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6) it is imperative that we have a clear understanding of what constitutes faith.  May you all have a blessed Covid free week!
